1: Cookies and Session Cookies

Cookies are small files the computer uses to 'remember' what you are adding to your shopping cart.  If 'cookies' are blocked, the website will not run smoothly, so let's make sure they are enabled.  It's easy, and here's how to do it....

First, click on your preferred program to look at web sites on the Internet.

Internet Explorer (PC)Internet Explorer (MAC)Mozilla or Netscape (PC)| Safari (MAC)

Internet Explorer on a PC

Go: Tools>Internet Explorer>Privacy>Click on the Advanced button

* Check the 'Override automatic cookie handling' button
* First Party Cookies - Accept
* Third Party Cookies - Prompt (if a 'cookie' alert appears when you are a HitTrax site, accept it)
* Check 'Always allow session cookies'

Click OK, then Apply then OK to close the screen. If 'Apply' is greyed out, that's ok.

Next:

Go: Tools>Internet Explorer>Privacy>Click on Sites (I.E. vers 6 +) or Websites (vers 5)
In Address of Web Site:  Allow the following web sites, one at a time.

hittrax.com.au
anz.com.au

Click 'OK'

If the Pop-up Blocker is visible, click setting: Allow the following web sites, one at a time.

hittrax.com.au
anz.com.au

Click 'Close'. That's it! All done.

2: Firewall programs and Ad Blocking Programs

These programs are great for security and privacy but they can also interfere with the smooth running of our website. Let's tell our firewall and adblocker programs to 'allow' HitTrax unrestricted access.  It's easy, and here's how to do it....

Allow the following sites in your firewall and ad blocker programs.

hittrax.com.au
anz.com.au

If you are not sure how to do this, click HELP in the firewall or ad blocker program and type 'ALLOW SITES' or 'ALLOW WEB SITES' in the search box and follow the instructions.

Click HERE if you have Norton Internet Security 2004 or 2005 installed

Click HERE if you have Zonealarm firewall installed

If your firewall is not listed here, contact the support center for your program and request assistance to make the settings recommended above.

That's it! All done.
